As an intimacy and relationship coach, I’ve spent the past two years holding workshops and guiding individuals and couples into greater presence, self-love, and connection. My work is rooted in the gentle yet transformative practices of Presencing, loving yourself, and developing your essence. Alex Westen

11 am-12 pm Thursday and Friday

Restorative Yoga with Alex Westen

Alex discovered yoga at the age of 17, during a deeply challenging time following the loss of my mother to cancer.  Through yoga, I found a profound sense of Physical, mental, and spiritual balance.  The practice became a vital tool in injury prevention and recovery, especially as my career and hobbies took me to physically demanding roles- landscaping, horticulture, tree trimming, construction, serving as a Cavalry Scout in the Army.  Beyond work, yoga has complemented my passions for caving, rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, and marathon distance canoeing.

My journey as a teacher began in 2018 after attending a YogaFit seminar, where I earned my first certification.  I started by offering free classes in a local park and flower shop, gradually expanding my expertise with YogaFit Level 2 and a 200 hour yoga teacher training.  By 2021, I was teaching at Augusta Health Fitness Center, and since then, I've brought yoga sessions to breweries, local farm stores, and community festivals.  Currently, my focus has broadened to include tantric studies, meditation, and Kundalini instruction with A Thousand Suns Academy.  I serve as a meditation facilitator for the Tibetan Yoga Ligmincha Foundation and am in pursuit of additional advanced certifications in a 200 hour Kundalini certification.

I am honored to teach student of all ages, from children to seniors, and my mission is to offer a holistic, accessible approach to yoga for everyone.  After all, if you breathe with intention, you are practicing yoga in some form.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong (also spelled Chi Kung or Qigong) is a traditional Chinese practice that involves physical movements, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi" or "Chi." Qi Gong is part of traditional Chinese medicine and is considered a holistic approach to health and well-being.

Qi Gong is based on the belief that the body's vital energy flows through energy channels or meridians and that practicing Qi Gong can improve the flow of Qi, promoting health and healing. The practice typically involves slow, gentle movements synchronized with deep breathing and a meditative focus.

Sunday 9-10 am

Dante was exposed to the healing arts at a very young age. As a teenager he met a variety of psychics, shamans and mediums, each of whom had an impact on his lifestyle and spiritual practices.

Practitioners such as acupuncturists, chiropractors and herbalists demonstrated to Dante the body's innate wisdom and self-healing potential and inspired him to teach holistic health.

Rashida McCoy

Rashida McCoy

Hi, I’m Rashida—an intuitive massage therapist, mother, and sacred space holder with over 13 years of experience in the healing arts. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe enough to soften. I offer bodywork that blends therapeutic massage with energetic attunement, creating a space where your body’s wisdom can guide the session.

I live with my family on land in Virginia, where I’m tending a vision called Sacred & Rooted—a healing sanctuary devoted to remembering our connection to self, land, and lineage. My practice is shaped by earth wisdom, the sacredness of everyday life, and a deep reverence for the body as a vessel of spirit.

Marcus Cammuse

Marcus Cammuse is a retired U.S. Army Major, licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, and lifelong student of healing traditions. For more than a decade, he has explored the intersection of movement, breath, meditation, energy work, and therapeutic touch. His sessions blend Vedic Thai bodywork, yoga, mindfulness, and practical body mechanics to help people reduce pain, restore balance, and reconnect with themselves. Marcus believes healing begins by creating a safe space where the body can relax, the mind can quiet, and genuine transformation can unfold. He is honored to share these practices with the FloydFest Healing Arts community.
